FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. SHIPPING
Why do I pay €12 for the first item and €8 for (7"/CD) and then 4.50 per LP and 3.50 per 7 inch / CD, and why is there no maximum?
Our inventory is located all over the world: we combine several suppliers in one account. After you order, we still need to ship the item from these suppliers to our warehouse in Amsterdam; which of course costs some time and $.
Your alternative is to order directly from these suppliers. Although our shipping costs might look high, in that case you’ll pay shipping costs per supplier and the total costs will be way higher. They’re not? Please order with them!

Why do the same shipping costs apply within The Netherlands?
We have to ship items to Amsterdam first, so the same prices apply to the Netherlands/Belgium/Germany as for the rest of the world.

Is that dropshipping? That is not allowed on Discogs!
Nope! We’re responsible for our inventory and we’re the actual seller of the items. We’re responsible for returns and refunds and you only communicate with us.

Why is it taking longer than normal to ship my order?
Our suppliers ship your item(s) together with orders of other buyers to our warehouse in Amsterdam. This on average takes a week. When your order is complete we ship to you. Depending on the location of your item(s) and the number of items you ordered from different suppliers this can take up to a few weeks. On average it takes a week and a half before we can dispatch your order. Want to have your items the same week? Please don’t order with us!

Where can I track my shipment?
We send all available shipping and tracking information via email.


2. CANCELLATIONS
Can I cancel my order?
When an order is made, these terms are applicable. You can’t cancel based on one of the following reasons:

‘Postage is too high’
‘I didn’t read your terms’
‘I need the item sooner than you can deliver’
‘I accidentally ordered’
‘I can’t use my paypal right now’
‘I didn’t see the remarks on the item’
‘I want to pay in another currency’


Cancelling your order with one of the above reasons will result in an automatic negative feedback for ‘non-paying buyer’


3. REFUNDS / RETURNS
There is something wrong with my order, what do I do?
We are true vinyl lovers that know the importance of getting it right. Please note we do everything we can to make everyone happy, but mistakes can be made. It's a human business, right? Negative feedback has a large impact on our business, so if something is wrong with your order just let us know and we'll help you out!

I haven’t received my order, can I get a refund?
Once an item has been shipped, full ownership is transferred to the buyer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items once they left the warehouse.
Of course we’ll provide you with all information we have to locate your order. Please get back to us, and we’ll dive into it and send tracking info if available. Please note we work with several couriers that all have different shipment times: it can take a while for the order to arrive.

The item is not as described, can I get a refund?
All items are thoroughly checked and we only work with A-class suppliers. Please send prove of the problem and we’ll dive into it.

My order was returned to your warehouse as ‘not reclaimed’, now what?
We can reship at the buyer expense. If not interested in reshipping, the buyer will be refunded the price of the items, but not the shipping costs. We are not responsible for non claimed packages.


4. RESPONSE TIME
How long does it take until I get a reply to my message?
Messages are answered Monday - Friday, from 10 - 18 CET (Central European Time Zone). Please keep calm and await a reply, we did not forget you! Please contact us via Discogs messages only. No need to spam us with several messages and give negative based on not answering within a few hours.

I’m still waiting for my invoice, when is it coming?
Our suppliers have to confirm availability of the item. It can happen that an item was sold in the shop and we want to make sure we have it for you to prevent disappointment on your end. It can take a few days for our suppliers to confirm your order, especially when you have multiple items.
When an item is not available, please think twice before giving a negative feedback.

How long do I have to pay my order?
You have 10 days to pay after invoice was sent. Otherwise you’ll receive a negative feedback for non-paying buyer


5. OTHER
I want to merge orders, can you merge them into one so I can save on shipment costs?
We can only merge your orders if all orders are still to be paid for. Once one order has been paid for we can’t merge anymore and double shipping costs are applicable.

I have a lot of items in my basket, can I have a discount?
See ‘shipping’: we have to ship items to our warehouse first so our margins are too thin to apply discounts.

Can you send me a picture of the item?
We don’t send photos, it’s too time consuming to ask from our suppliers. All info needed is in the remarks.

I have an on-going order but just found another item that I´d like to add
If the order is "invoice sent" then that is no problem. Please place a new order with that item and then contact us and ask us to merge.

Are VeVinyl and VinylExpressBV both your accounts?
In VinylExpressBV we combine inventory of USA sellers; in VeVinyl of EU based sellers. You can not combine orders from these 2 accounts.
